3a. Custom work and your marks

If you ask for initials, a monogram, a reserved hide, or another change from the catalogue:

The letters, sketch, and hide photograph become part of the order record. We keep them so we can cut the piece and so we can show what was approved if there is a later dispute
A photograph of a hide is sent so you can accept or refuse that lot. Once you accept it in writing, that hide is reserved for you
We do not stamp a third party’s name or a trademark you do not own. If you send a mark that is not yours, we will refuse the job
Custom specifications are not used for marketing. We will not publish a photo of your initials without asking

Custom work is made to your specification. The legal consequences of that (no change-of-mind return) are in the Shipping & Returns page, not in this Policy. This Policy only explains how we hold the information that makes the custom cut possible.

Hide photographs you refused: 90 days, then deleted
Customer accounts: until you ask us to close them
Server logs: typically 90 days

When we no longer need information, we delete or irreversibly anonymise it.

10. Security

We use HTTPS on the public site, restrict staff access to inquiry and order records, and keep software updated. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. Do not send full payment-card numbers by WhatsApp.

11. Your rights
